About Us:

TheAustinCarr.com is a website created by some college kids who love the Cavs and our color commentator “Mr. Cavalier” Austin Carr.


How it started:
               The beginning of the 07’-08’ season started with 8 friends living in a garbage house off of Ohio State’s campus. While watching every Cavs game we could not help but fall in love with our new color commentator Austin Carr. After painfully listening to Scott Williams the year before we were relishing in Austin Carr’s passion and love for “The L-Train”. After noticing how often AC used L-Train, we started tallying them up on a piece of plywood that doubled as our family room table. From this the idea of TheAustinCarr.com was born.


Our Purpose:
               Being Cavs fans with access to every game and college students with time to spare, we decided to stop being lazy and start sharing our findings. The main premise of the site is to give Cavs fans a view that they cannot get from global sports networks, along with content not currently available on Cavs blogs and fan sites. We want this site to have a community feel so feel free to comment, question, suggest, or even write an article. This site is for Cavs Fans and is meant to further our appreciation of this team.


Our Specialty:
                Extended highlights of Cavs games broadcasted on FSN. These are 5-10 min clips consisting of jaw dropping Lebron highlights, classic Z tip-ins, Mo’s signature mid-range jumper, Wally fist-pumps, drawn charges by Andy, and of course spectacular calls made by our favorites, Fred McLeod and The One and Only Austin Carr.
